What are “Whoopsies”?
During production, sometimes 'Whoopsies!' happen. These mugs we still consider sellable, but we’ve previously held them back from shipping for often very small and obscure reasons that most people wouldn’t notice. While all of our mugs are hand made and unique, some are a little more unique than others. We’ve had many people inquire about mugs that we’ve not had in-stock for awhile, so we thought this could be a good way to get some mugs that we no longer produce into the hands of those who really want them, and to make room on our shelves for new mugs that we’ve got in the works.
Each of these tiki mugs will have one or more of these, or other, small issues: unique glaze from the majority of the run, brush strokes, glaze somewhere unintended, tiny black dots from particles in the kiln, superficial glaze cracks that don’t affect the integrity of the mug, etc. As each mugs issues vary and are unique, they may not be reflected in pictures here, however we've provided clear shots of the front and back of each mug. Mugs are being sold in as-is condition. We reserve the right to permanently mark mugs on bottom, out of sight, to indicate they're part of this group. Mugs will not arrive cracked (excludes superficial glaze ‘cracks’).
“Whoopsie” mugs are offered at discounted price of the current value.
These mugs are in-stock and ready to be packed and shipped (within about a week)
We strongly encourage you to look at the front and back photo for each mug. Each pair of images has a number in the lower right corner which is associated with the # you'll choose when adding to cart. Make sure you pick one you're going to like as this is all there is left and there won't be any exchanges possible.
Critterosity's Floral Tiki Goddess Tiki Mug
Floral Tiki Goddess was inspired by the art of Critterosity. Tiki Tony saw one of her pieces and thought it would make a gorgeous tiki mug and we all agreed! Eva has made a wonderful addition to our TikiLand Trading Co. marketplace events, and her hand painted tiki mug collaborations with Johnny Velour have sold out in lightning speed at the events.
Artist Eva, of Critterosity, enjoys dreaming up Tiki Goddesses to escape and imagine the beauty of the islands. The Goddesses she designs are unique in their own way as they each contribute to nature. The Floral Tiki Goddess wears upon her head a crown filled with the colorful life she has.
Floral Tiki Goddess comes with a custom tiki cocktail recipe crafted by Kelly Merrell.
