This is one of the best places for tiki stuff. This mug is a "whoopsie" but honestly, I can find nothing wrong with it. It is better than expected and has a place of prominence among my collection of tiki mugs. So happy!
As a retired Navy Veteran of 20 years this fits my personality perfectly. Honestly, I'm surprised that more Navy and Coast Guard Service Members haven't bought one or gotten it as a gift from their coworkers or family as a retirement gift.
It's wonderful gift for someone who has survived hardships and survived. As well as those of us with a macabre inclinations like the Addams Family. Whenever I see it sitting on my shelf next to my desk, it gives me the warm fuzzies and a bit of a chuckle.
The original came from a meme "Perfect Spirit Animal Doesn't Exist" where it showed a crab using a Human Skull as a shell back on November 9th, 2017. It was popular on the Reddit thread: r/ImaginaryHorrors. The meme has blown up online since then.
Lastly, the original image was an art sculpture called "Migratory Soul" that was created by Josh Keyes.
This is one of my favorite mugs. It's a Woodside but I can't tell. It seems perfect. So happy with it.
