This sculptural tiki mug features two birds nesting—pairing in “PAIRadise”—stacked atop one another and turned in opposite directions, perched above a base of layered skulls woven into the nest below. The upper bird is finished in a soft orange wash glaze, while the lower bird and skulls are rendered in a complementary pink wash, with a matching pink interior. The mug was packaged in a custom crate-style box designed by Tiki tOny.

Created as a Lost Lake / False Idol collaboration, this mug was produced exclusively for the Pele’s Lost Cove event in San Diego. It was one of three event-exclusive mugs released, alongside designs by Tiki Diablo and Notch.

While not publicly documented at the time, this release holds special significance for TikiLand Trading Co.: it was the first mug ever put into production by TikiLand Trading Co. (Tiki tOny and Lost Tiki). The piece also served as an early experiment in domestic U.S. production, and—despite lacking a bottom stamp—represents TLTC’s first true “bar mug”.
