Deep in the jungle, they carved an idol in the image of their Monkey Chieftain, adorned with a lei of leaves and a headdress. It was a bold claim in a land that was not theirs.
The people are gone. No record remains of why.
But the islanders still speak of the jungle going quiet around the idol. No birds. No wind. Just silence.
They say the Monkey Chieftain never left.
He simply waits.
Produced in collaboration with Tiki Tom’s - Walnut Creek’s beloved tropical escape - this release celebrates the shared love of craftsmanship, storytelling, and tiki tradition that connects artists, collectors, and the spirited community who gather beneath the glow of thatch and torchlight.

These are ceramic mugs intended for cold or room temperature beverages only.
All of our ceramics are handmade. Each mug varies slightly and is unique, and is not the exact mug photographed here, although we try for it to be as identical as possible when produced by hand. During ceramic production sometimes there can be variations with glaze, color, texture, cleanup, etc.
While technically this can be put in a dishwasher, we only recommend hand washing as this is a functional piece of art.
