I really should have pre-ordered this mug, and hesitated. Fortunately a few remain as whoopsies, so I was able to make an impulse buy a few weeks ago; got my order much faster than the pre-orders and within a few weeks it was in my hands.
At first glance, it was smaller than it appears in photos, obviously not a full size skull--but it has a great interior volume and any larger would be unwieldy to carry around with your favorite drink.
The design and the glazing are both top notch. The skull really has an aged, forgotten look, while the crab looks like it just walked out of the ocean. The bright black glazed eyes look real.
