Darker Barker Tiki Mug

Darker Barker - A remnant of a bygone era, when he cheerfully greeted all who passed by the tiki room, his popularity being the ultimate root of his demise. He was literally too popular.

Once Juan was retired, he was left to wander. No longer entertaining the crowd, he grew a bit cynical, and some would even say “dark”. 

In the time since, he’s taken comfort in other long forgotten relics from the land of adventure. He’s traded his barker hat for something a bit more casual, his collar for a Tiki pendant, and his perch for a souvenir skull. And his cane… well, Rosita has been keeping a careful eye on it for him. 


 

About this Tiki Mug:

    • Mug photos show the mug in indoor light which emulates outdoor lighting. No filters has been used on these photos. We feel these photos most closely represent the colors in-person.
    • This mug holds about 17.5oz (varies slightly mug to mug), and is about 8 7/8 inches tall.

    • Note about import production: These mugs are being produced with one of our tried and tested production partners. All mugs will have passed through multiple rounds of quality control before being shipped out.
    • These are ceramic mugs intended for cold or room temperature beverages only.
    • All of our ceramics are handmade. Each mug varies slightly and is unique, and is not the exact mug photographed here, although we try for it to be as identical as possible when produced by hand. During ceramic production sometimes there can be small variations with glaze, color, texture, cleanup, etc.
    • We guarantee mugs not to arrive with structural cracks or chips, and will replace them at our expense if they arrive to you in this condition.
    • Only one mug included.
    • While technically this can be put in a dishwasher, we only recommend hand washing as this is a functional piece of art.

    **DECOR USE ONLY option:

    Sometimes we have mugs that don’t pass our final quality control process for various reasons. These mugs aren’t considered “firsts” or even “whoopsies”. Many of them we do not feel are appropriate for use with beverages. Instead of destroying these mugs, we've decided to sell them in AS-IS condition and for Decor Use Only  for a low price so that some people may still get enjoyment from them. 

    These mugs could be used on a shelf for display, used to make a lamp, used as a pot, some other DIY project, or even to hold things such as barware, swizzles, straws, pens, etc!

    Again, for those of you familiar with our "Whoopsies" program, these are not considered the same.  These mugs are not exchangeable. Mugs will be guaranteed to arrive without structural cracks/in one piece, but these could have superficial glaze cracks or chips, missing/incorrect glaze, as well as other issues (aesthetic or other). These will be clearly distinguishable from legit first quality mugs and Whoopsies because they will have a hole drilled in the bottom, so they will not hold liquid. These mugs will usually ship in one-two weeks, but can be up to four. We must do this to make sure they are never used for beverages, and that they are clearly distinguishable if resold.

    Very Happy

    I know I was buying a second however I was so surprised when I received both my pieces. As hard as I looked I found no deformations. Must of been o e someplace but I couldn’t find one o. Either. Very happy

    Decor Mug

    I really enjoy this piece. it is well made, heavy and looks great with my hand built bar in the back. Its too nice to leave it out all the time, but with the blemish, I am fine with bringing it out when I want to spice up the bar. It it well made, and work buying.
